I’m a girl mama, avid coffee drinker and probably going to be your new favorite designer! (I’m just kidding, okay well..no I’m not.)
Starting from scratch, with nothing but
a laser and laptop…
I somehow ended up on a self-taught journey, developing my skills as I built and managed my own thriving online creative business
(with two littles asking for snacks along the way…if you can relate to this, you are definitely my people!)
IT WAS A PROJECT YOU MIGHT SAY!
It all started on a whim…
Just One More Project wasn’t all digital downloads in the beginning!
Can you believe that? I was a stay at home mom with two kids. I knew I needed to bring in extra income. So, I started as a handmade business making physical product from a dining room table (with a toddler playing under it.) I was struggling keeping up with the demand and I knew I needed to switch gears into something with a little more flexibility, but still drove my passions and excitement.
In 2020, I launched this website and started to offer SVG cutting files for Cricut users (with little to no graphic design experience!) Soon after, I got my Glowforge and started designing Laser Ready SVG files too and well… you could say I'm kind of obsessed with it now!
I was hooked.
From a modest dining table side hustle, I've transformed Just One More Project into the business I’ve always dreamed of.
It's a joy to now have the opportunity to educate and connect with brilliant and enthusiastic creatives like yourself, sharing and exploring our creativity together!
But my story doesn't end with my own success,
it's only the beginning.
I'm on a mission: a heartfelt pursuit to empower fellow creatives just like me with the tools and support you need to thrive in your small business and as a creative.
